This officially licensed McLaren Racing Advent Calendar puts that car on your desk, one piece at a time. Behind 24 individually designed boxes — each with its own double-sided artwork — sits a complete 1:43 scale model kit of the MCL39, plus the presentation base, the accessories and the reading that goes with it. Parts plug and screw together. No glue, no paint, nothing else to buy.
The book
Alongside the build runs a 52-page large-format volume that pairs the assembly guide with the story of the car and the decades of racing behind it. English and German, both in the same book. It stays on the shelf long after the calendar is empty.

The build
One box a day from December 1st to Christmas Eve. Each holds a single stage — ten to fifteen minutes of work — and the boxes are numbered rather than dated, so you can run it across December or build the whole car in an afternoon. The finished MCL39 measures roughly 15 × 10 × 10 cm on its base: desk-sized, shelf-sized, and loud when you want it to be.
